I have to admit this, I used to struggle with procrastination and avoidance, and it was undoubtedly tied to my fear of failure. 

Whenever I faced tasks or challenges that evoked that familiar sense of fear, I would find myself hesitating, putting things off, or even completely avoiding them altogether

It was as if I was seeking temporary relief from the anxiety that failure might bring, but little did I know, I was just perpetuating the cycle of fear.

It became a roadblock on my journey to self-improvement and achieving my dreams.

I had to be honest with myself and dig deep to understand why I was allowing fear to dictate my actions.

I catch myself belittling my abilities or automatically assuming that I’ll fail before even trying.

But you know what, contrary to that defeating inner voice, I’ve learned that positive self-talk is a powerful tool in overcoming the fear of failure. 

Developing self-awareness and recognizing when I’m engaging in negative self-talk has been a significant step towards change.

Changing the way I talk to myself has had a profound impact on my self-confidence and overall mindset. 

Instead of assuming failure, I’ve started to encourage and motivate myself.

Sometimes, we just want a reassuring nod or a pat on the back, seeking constant approval from others.
